Located in the remote Northern Serengeti, Ang’ata Migration – Bologonja Camp offers an exceptional safari experience in one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife regions. Set close to the famous Mara River, the camp sits directly along the path of the Great Migration, placing guests at the heart of thrilling river crossings and intense predator activity.
The camp features comfortable, thoughtfully designed tented accommodations that blend naturally with the surrounding wilderness while providing essential modern comforts. Each tent offers privacy, warm hospitality, and sweeping views of the Serengeti landscape, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing comfort.
Daily guided game drives explore the rich ecosystems of Bologonja, known for its abundance of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, big cats, and diverse birdlife. Evenings are spent relaxing around the campfire, sharing stories beneath vast star-filled skies, and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the African bush.
Located near the Bologonja Ranger Post our camp is an hours drive away from Mara River where you can witness the world famous River Crossing, with Nile Crocodiles laying in ambush and Big Cats on the shores awaiting the Migration from July to October.
Set in front of a big plain you will most certainly be in the company of thousands of Wildebeest while enjoying your cup of tea in front of your tent.
Accommodation & Facilities
A large camp with 12 large Guest tents including a 2 tent Family unit, a lounge and a dining tent. Each guest tent has an en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity desk and flush toilets. Depending on request a Kingsize bed or 2 Twin beds or triples are available. The lounge is the place to meet other travellers and share your day’s Safari stories while enjoying a complementary cup of Tanzanian Coffee or Tea. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the dining tent, freshly prepared by our Chefs on a daily basis. Bush TV (local name for camp fire) is lit when the weather permits.
